Because I went to the doctor this week, and I was told I am not ovulating. The term, "zero chance" was used, in reference to me getting pregnant. I am 31 years old. I am not married, and I am not trying to get pregnant. I knew there were some problems with my reproductive organs, and I knew I would have problems getting pregnant. Yet, I always held onto a little hope, but this news felt final, and I do not know if I am supposed to talk about it.
You are probably getting to this point of the post and wondering why in the world would I post such hilarious gifs on such a serious topic, but I honestly do not know how to process my feelings at the moment, and humor helps. I probably feel more like:

When I hold friends' babies, people say, "you will be there one day!" or "something to look forward to." And I do not know how to respond. How am I to respond?
I always believed there would be no greater purpose for me than to have and raise a child, and now that purpose is gone. Is there purpose out there for us who will never experience that?
